Disappoiting restaurant. My friend specified she had an alergy and was served her order with ingredients she could not eat. When she double checked with the waiter when served, we realized she could not eat it.The manager came but did not apologize. My friend changed her order and we still had to pay the difference on price for the new order. An overall disappointing experience that did not manage to ruin our beautiful day out in Malibu!
What a beautiful day in Malibu. The best time to come is in the morning. It's quiet and super relaxing. Food is great and the service is always friendly. Sit outside on the West side of the pier so you can watch the surfers. Enjoy!!!
Awesome experience. A must when you hit up Malibu. Eating off the pier is an experience I will not forget.
I was quite hungry when I waked into Malibu Farm Pier Cafe so I had to get the rancheros. I thought it was very tasty and had a good amount of crunch from the tortilla which you can’t really see from the photo. Great vibe, great view and great food!
Had the steak sandwich and it was great. One of the better steak sandwiches I've had!
Only 1 start because of the view and the initial smiles and proper greetings. Not impressed with the fact that they gave my order to a random Black group that they expected was with me, then refused to remake it even though there's a virus out and they handed our food to a stranger. Never recommending or going again, food was in the flavor of unseasoned organic if you're into that. Better organic restaurants on La Brea in Inglewood.
Would certainly recommend trying this place. Fantastic mood, tasty food, good customer service. Keep up the good work.
I’m not from the LA area...but every time I come to town I try to make it here. The food and beer is fantastic. Get here an hour before sunset for romantic dinner lighting.
Best breakfast I’ve ever had!! Best view of all and great friendly staff. Can’t wait to go back!
Great food, but very crowded - not to blame on the staff - just a signal that it IS a joyful place
Even if the food was inedible, this chic pier spot still deserves four stars. I mean you're eating on the water in Malibu on teak wooden benches covered in faux fur throws. And there's rosé. Don't be needy. But really, the menu is perfect. A diverse array of healthy and organic options and an impressive drink menu serving up fresh and fruity libations. The cauliflower crust pizza is a must order, although we also thoroughly enjoyed the vegan chop salad and egg salad sandwich. Watermelon margarita was refreshing and tangy without excess sugar.I cannot wait to return for a matcha latte and waffles for breakfast ...and to try the rest of their drinks over lavash and salmon at dinner.
Amazing quality for being a kitchen on the end of a pier. The food came out quick and was well prepared. You know the cooks got it going good In there when the peppers and onions have real flavor and are cooked down properly.
Nice view, good food and selection of beers / wines. Be careful of seagulls ! ;)
Good portions and delicious. The place was relaxing and the view was nice. Friendly and kind staffs too. I enjoyed my first visit. I'll be back for sure.
Cute place right on the Malibu pier, it’s a hit or miss! I loved the seats right by the water it was such an amazing experience for a date. You can get the perfect photos here and drinks 🍹 I wasn’t too fond of their food selection but wished they had more options. quiet on weekdays and busy on weekends! parking wasn’t too bad across the street.Try coming here during sunset hours.
Always good, always busy. On a beautiful sunny day, it’s the best place to eat at if you can get a seat outside. Get that ocean breeze with your meal and soak in that vitamin D. It’s on the pricy side but not a bad investment for a relaxing time out.
This place is very cozy and the views while eating are so beautiful. Food is very good and the staff is friendly. Cool little gift shop right outside as well.
This place is great! It is very reasonably priced for the location and the food is good too. Located on the end of the Malibu pier, this restaurant has indoor, outdoor, and rooftop seating with panoramic ocean views. The atmosphere is causal and laid back. You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. In my experience the food came out very quickly. The only negative is the lack of parking (street or expensive lot), so it is best to make it part of a Malibu beach day. With the prime location, good food, and reasonable prices, I can’t think of a better lunch spot in the area. (The picture is the fried egg sandwich)
Excellent food and quick service. The Swedish dog was delicious. Crunchy outside and juicy inside. The salmon sandwich was great.
I tried this place once with my friend and I am addicted since then. I enjoy the excellent mood and delicious food and drinks. Kudos.
Beautiful view, amazing meal... just a bit pricey and no washrooms
Beautiful location . Great server. The rest of the help needs more training. The Food: Never again. Maybe healthy but no flavor. Presentation could be better as well. Too expensive for what you get.
This spot is great! Affordable prices, considerable portions and the staff are always helpful.
Wow, the farm to table food was amazing. I ordered a regular burger that was put together with brioche bun. The sauce was amazing and the meat was perfectly cooked. It came with mashed broccoli/potatoes, also very good. The atmosphere is perfect. The service was great. I will be back at this place.
Food tastes fresh, and views are great. The ordering process is efficient and cleanly; the wood utensils are prepackaged. Prices are comparable to the Malibu Farm Restaurant, so choose based more so on menu than $.
Beautiful scenery/view. WAAAYYYYY overpriced for what you get. Service not great, had to keep asking for water from busboy since no one checked on our table. The bus staff was extremely friendly and helpful, not so much with the wait staff.
Restaurant is located at the entrance of the pier and has great window view tables. Layout is nice and doesn't feel over crowded. We had the skirt steak and spaghetti squash lasagna - both bomb! The jalapeño mix cocktail was nice too! Steak was deliciously marinated and came accompanied with yummy mashed potatoes!!
If you’re road tripping the Pacific coast highway, this is the perfect pit stop! Fantastic views, great food and excellent experience. Will definitely be going back!
Stopped here for a quick lunch on our West coast road trip. Stunning Malibu setting on the Pier. Food is nice, great service. A little bit toppy on prices, but that’s Malibu... Can recommend!
Great location, food, cocktails and service
Obviously this views here are amazing. However the food was so mediocre and WAY over priced. I’m giving it 3 stars for the fast and friendly service plus the views. However—ownership desperately needs to review the menu. Both our bland sandwiches came with an arugula salad with a piece watermelon radish. Salad is a stretch. It was a pile of dry arugula, no oil, lemon, or salt. I suggest coming here for a drink bc they make a mean sangria, but go to Dukes for a bite to eat!
You should go to this place if you are in LA, have your breakfast there no matter what.Just have sometime to go and enjoy your day. It’s kinda pricey but worth every single penny you pay.
Forgot to take a photo. Had the vegan chopped salad with Salmon. All I can say... It was AMAZING ❤️! Beautiful presentation of food. Definitely will be going back.
One of the best places in Malibu by far! We have been here multiple times and love it every single time. When you walk into the pier, there’s a breakfast and lunch spot first and then the breakfast all day is towards the end of the pier. Margarita is highly recommended as well
This place is worth trying. They have large portions for convenient rates. Constantly well organized and with fantastic vibes. Will come visit again.
I was not impressed at all. I got subpar service for a place where I expected so much more not to mention we did spend $200. The food was good but my meat and veggies were cold. Our server did not write our order down and had to ask me a second time what we wanted. Then after a while she stopped coming to help us and two other guys I guess were our servers. They were kind of nice but just so unattentive. Then the girl that was originally helping me reached over my husbands head to grab a plate that was behind him instead of walking behind the booth we were in and grabbing it that way. She felt the need to reach over him while we were eating! I mean WOW! So disappointed and will never be back or refer this restaurant.
Love this place. Great food & drinks. Views are great. It can get packed. I suggest one person to grab seats while the other orders.
Nice spot! We took some out of town friends here, they were impressed. Good breakfast burritos, good coffee, amazing view!
The food was delicious, service very friendly, and great energy!! The reason I give a 4 instead of 5 is I was expecting much more of a view. Definitely prefer Laguna or La Jolla. However I do appreciate the experience and kind guys at the front of house.
Great place, great food.
EXPENSIVE, waaaaayyyy to EXPENSIVE. Beautiful view, and nice employees, the food is good too but totally not worth paying $37 for a burger and beer
The view is Amazing.but too expensive ( over price $$$$$$$$ ) services not good!
Thank you very much for your support to the Healthcare workers around LA. I am an Emergency Nurse at Centinela Hospital. On behalf of our staff I say thank you for the delicious and healthy food that you guys have been sending us. Malibu Farms has been sending us free food since the pandamic started. Thank you Thank you Thank you
Joyous!! The best!!I got to eat there just in time; sitting by the pier; enjoying a wonderful organic meal, a moment in paradise!!
the food had no taste and i got food poisoned not only me but my family too , and it was a waste of money because we didn’t pay a lot just to get food poisoned.
Very genuine coastal feel. Great choices for various diets. If you want cheap hit up the fast food across the street but you’ll miss out. Atmosphere was relaxed, warm and inviting.
Great breakfast with great views. All the times I have gone I’ve been lucky with close street parking as well.
Best Breakfast! This place was delicious. Kale salad was so fresh. Steak cooked perfectly. Fried egg and bacon sandwich, outstanding. So glad I took a detour and stopped here. Worth it.
Apparently if you order from them through a third party app, they charge the driver $20 to park, on top of the fact that the staff was rude and unapologetic. Even after approximately 45 minutes, the order hadn't even been started, let alone confirmed with them for some reason? I feel sorry for anyone who has to deliver from this place, or anyone who orders from this place. It's practically a tourist trap, waiting to make people miserable in the end 🙃Update: so the Dasher that was supposed to pick up the order was hassled and then told that they do not work with doordash and they cannot complete the order. I attempted to call the establishment and when the phone was answered there was just a ringing noise that hurt my ears.
